DAY 1: WELCOME TO LISBON!
Arrival and transfer to the selected hotel. Accommodation for 3 nights.
DAY 2: DISCOVER LISBON AND LISBON COAST (SINTRA, CASCAIS, ESTORIL)
Through Lisbon guided sightseeing tour, visit the most popular places, squares and districts in Lisbon, such as Marques de Pombal Square, Praça do Comércio Square, Liberdade Avenue (the fanciest and popular in town), downtown with its narrow streets, old monuments, typical tram, commercial areas, also the Belem old district, highly connected with the Discoveries Era, where you can visit the Jeronimos Monastery, with its old Church, the Discoveries Monument and the Belem Tower, a starting point of the great navigator Vasco da Gama for his trips towards the New World. In the afternoon departure towards Sintra, where is the former summer residence of the Portuguese Kings. You will have free time in Sintra to spend it as you wish, visiting the Royal Sintra Palace, tasting the local pastry, or visiting the typical handicraft shops existing here. Next, you will stop at Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point in Europe, with a breathtaking views over the Atlantic! Then, going down along the Atlantic ocean and natural dunes of the wild Guincho beach, you will arrive at Cascais, a former fishing village, now turn into a cosmopolite seaside resort. You will have a short free time in Cascais to visit the old center. Finally, return to Lisbon passing by Estoril, another cosmopolite seaside resort, famous for its Casino and its exotic gardens.
DAY 3: EXPLORE MORE OF THE PORTUGUESE HISTORY, TRADITIONS, AND CULTURE
Day at leisure in Lisbon. As an alternative, we suggest an optional guided tour to the most famous places and monuments in Centre Portugal: departure towards Óbidos to visit one of the most beautiful medieval fortresses in Portugal, with narrow streets and white painted houses with flowers in the windows. Here you will have free time for a stroll and visit handicraft shops. You can also taste the famous “Ginjinha” in chocolate cups. Then you will visit Batalha and its famous medieval monastery, UNESCO World Heritage.
Next, you will visit Nazaré, a beautiful town like few in the Centre of Portugal. From the traditions that have lingered throughout the years which are deeply related, to the fishing activity to the big waves that made this place an important touristy location, there are many reasons for you to want to visit this town. This tour cannot be complete without a visit to Fátima, the worldwide famous pilgrim center. Back to Lisbon in the late afternoon.
DAY 4: GOING NORTH TO DISCOVER PORTO AND THE NORTHERN REGION
In the morning you will be transferred to the railway station to take the high-speed train to Porto. In less than 3 hours you will be there, in the capital of northern Portugal. Porto city, the second-largest city in Portugal, is worldwide famous for its wine producers. Here your guide will take you to visit and taste Port wine in one of its 58 Port wine cellars. Walking guided tour in the old city visiting the Cathedral with its medieval church, also the City Hall large square and its monumental buildings. Old Porto also has beautiful monuments as St. Francis Gothic church and the Stock Exchange with its famous Arabian hall.
Douro river banks are linked by several technically outstanding bridges, one of them being designed by the French engineer Gustave Eiffel. Porto tour will finish with an unforgettable 50 minutes cruise aboard a typical boat to enjoy the unique beauty of the Douro River, meeting the edges of the cities of Porto and Gaia.

DAY 5: EXPLORE MORE OF THE WONDERS OF THE NORTH OF PORTUGAL
Day at leisure in Porto.
As an alternative, we suggest an optional guided tour to the Douro Valley and its beautiful landscapes, vineyards, and famous Porto winemakers: we suggest you dedicate this day to the Douro Valley wine region, the first wine region to be demarcated in the world. The landscape classified as UNESCO World Heritage defines this charming and unique region of the North of Portugal. The tour will take you to Amarante (a typical and charming town on Douro river) then to Casa de Mateus real estate in Vila Real, where you will visit the property and you can taste 2 DOP Douro wines. Next spot will be Peso da Régua, where you will have some free time for personal activities. Then the tour continues with the visit of Quinta da Pacheca, another very famous wine property dated from the 18th century. Visit and tasting different types of Port wine and also Douro wines produced here. Return to Porto in the late afternoon.
DAY 6: BACK TO LISBON
At the scheduled time you will be transferred to the railway station to take the high train back to Lisbon. Arrival at Lisbon, transfer, and check-in. Afternoon at leisure in Lisbon.
DAY 7: FLIGHT BACK HOME
Check-out and transfer to Lisbon Airport.
